It’s Just a Job

Yup, it is. Just a job.

It is not your whole life.

Your job is a way to make money, and you make money not just for the sake of making money, but so you have resources to do whatever it is that you love. That includes supporting your family, pursuing your passion in life, helping others.

Now if your job is your passion, good for you.

Your job should uplift you, not demean you.

You work best when you are happy. Yes, we need money (it also makes us happy, yes?), but we also need support, peace of mind, and a sense of achievement. Up to you to choose what has more weight for you.

If it has come to that point where lines are blurred, when you question your strengths, when you throw your values out the window, then, friend, it’s time to move on.

Go! Be free!
